Title: BSA C15 Engine Number
Post by: Mascott on 14 Feb, 2020, 17:21
I have a BSA C15 (1960 according to log book)
However not sure if the engine is a 59 or 60 and needing to order some parts.
Can anyone please tell me what year this engine number is C15 27243

For some reason I can't make a direct link work, but one way to find out the age of your BSA engine would be to go to the  "draganfly" website , that is how it is  spelt (!) website, click on the "BSA shop and info" link on the left hand menu then click on the "articles and tech info" link , then the " frame and engine numbers" option.

This should give you a listing of all the various BSA machines with their engine numbers.

It looks a bit confusing at first.

I may be wrong but using that list, your engine seems to be a 1961 model...but as I say I may have misread it!

Hope that makes sense and is of use.
