Title: 1949 B31 Petrol tank
Post by: DEDGE on 28 Dec, 2019, 18:32
Hi All
I have just had my petrol tank re chromed, and i am going to get it painted light Brunswick green with gold coach lines.
Is this the right colour for 1949 B31 and does anyone have a copy or template of the paint scheme, mine had no paint on, or a decent picture.
I have 2 tank badges from dragonfly oblong chrome with blue enamel BSA and wing. Was this the right colour someone has said that the original was plain brass. Any help would be much appreciated as don't want to get it wrong at this stage.
Best Regards
Dedge

Hi Dedge, I've had my B31 tank painted in Light Brunswick Green with gold pinstripes: no chrome though. I can't post pictures here, but if you message me your email address I'll send some photos. Cheers, Mark.
