After about 2 years of searching I finally found an A65 LH front footrest on Ebay.
Its bent, buckled and beautiful. Gas torch time soon.
Of course there will now be about a dozen perfectly good ones come up in the next few days----tuff

I remember that Mike, I got two chrome ones then for £20 off a dealer in those days, result.
when I get back to work, I will call in to the foundry to see how much they want to cast new ones. Ive got a pair of near new ones to use as patterns.

I contacted local foundry and for a short run they were talking telephone No's. £300 min per item.

My bent and buckled LH footrest arrived today. Seriously out of shape. I'm very glad my foot wasn't on it at the time the damage occurred. Maybe it just fell over.

End of saga. After two years or so of searching I now have a functional LH Footrest. Hope I didn't steal yours Derek???.
