now the B40 motor is nearly rebuilt, the old piston was in bits and the barrel in need of work, a new barrel was found and treated to a rebore +.020 and new piston,
now son has found the old piston and its marked up 41/571H on the top, from web searching it looks like a B44 Victor piston.
question being, I think the bike was a flat tracker would the B44 barrel fit on the B40 cases, is there a difference in stroke?
would the B40 head fit on top?
would there be an increase in power?
