Title: BSA B31 Frame no
Post by: Tomnr on 12 Dec, 2019, 13:43
Hi  :)

I recently purchased a b31. The frame no says its CA7.154××, As I came to know which CA7 came for twins. Yet this frame allows to have the right side bottom frame space for a B31 sump space which use for the oil pump also (quite a  U shape). I am wondering is it a b31 frame or a goldstar frame. But still the chassy no makes me quite confuse.  :o, your idea would welcome

Thanks
Tom

I have an FA7 prefix frame number in my garage with the kink in the frame.

I dont know when it was converted but i think it was quite common back in the day.

I would say no.

The frame i have is modified with a piece of round tubing added in place of the kink that is usually found on Goldstar or B31 frame.
