Title: Tail light lens
Post by: Phil C on 21 Oct, 2019, 17:29
We learn as we go along. In order to raise the front wheel, I weighed down the back wheel by placing a pile of various things on it. They fell off, breaking the plastic lens of the tail light as they fell.
Anybody know where I can get of of these? (see photo.)
Between hole centres is about 4.5 inches.  Various things are written on it:
STANLEY HM - 7 R C
also RR 50
and AU 40 D

Doesn't seem to be standard for my bike  (1965 B40F)

Found it. Looks like it was off Japanese bikes.  Phil.

Pattern " original" light fittings are quite cheap to buy complete.

Jumped in and ordered same as the one I broke. Wish I hadn't now. As I said, we learn as we go along.   Phi.
