Title: Cable ferrules

At the ends of outer cables (clutch, brake, etc) there is a little metal ferrule. How do you fix it on the outer cable?   Phil.

You can carefully centre punch it or use silicon or an adhesive.

As Julian said!

I like to tack mine on with silicone or a bit of heat glue to stop them moving but to be honest, there should not be that much free movement in an outer cable to allow them to come completely off. I like to be able to remove them - if I need to alter a cable length it is nice to be able to reuse them.

Used a bit of silicone.  Thanks.  Phil.
