Title: BSA Goldstar 350 engine and frame number query
Post by: judithbonser on 19 Sep, 2019, 10:00
Hi, I have just bought a BSA Goldstar 350 (1949) which was registered with DVLA in 2017. For the sake of interest, I'm wondering if the frame and engine suffix numbers are supposed to match, I wonder if anyone here knows? The frame number is ZB31 3594 and the engine number is ZB32 GS-3099. If anyone can shed any light I would be most appreciative. Thanks :-)

Hi,
Ask for a dating  certificate, only £5, here:

Best wishes...

Many thanks Bess - would the dating certificate enable me to ascertain whether the actual frame and engine were the ones on the bike when it was first built and left the factory?

Is the frame rigid or plunger?
