Title: 1966 Spitfire Mk11
Post by: Phil Cartwright on 13 Sep, 2019, 23:59
Good evening all. I am new to this site so i may be pressing buttons in the wrong area, bear with me.  In 1969 i bought a Spitfire Mk11 (2). JDA 80D from Copes in Wolverhampton. I would like to see it again or even buy it but that probably wont happen. The thing that interests me is that i recall the engine number as A65 2SP then whatever. Am i going daft?? End of post.

I would expect a 1966 Spitifre engine and frame numbers to start A65S followed by a number.
