Title: B30-4
Post by: maxc on 13 Sep, 2019, 09:04
I have just bought a 1930 B30-4 and I am looking for information about it. It has a 274 carby and I was wondering if I can put a 276 on it.

The Amal original would have been a brass bodied Type 4. The type 6, 76 and 276 came with larger bores.

If a 276 will physically fit on the engine go for one with bore closest to the type 4 and be prepared to experiment with settings/jets.
