Just joined on here. I'm considering purchasing a BSA after 20+ years on Japanese machines. My dad owned a 1954 B31 DDJ 731 between around 1960 and 1965 and I was wondering if anyone can advise if it is possible to find out if this bike is still around. I've tried the MOT and TAX checker but nothing is coming up. The reg plate isn't available on any of the registration sellers, so I guess it is being used somewhere?
I've added a few photos showing the bike (and my parents).

How strange, I have just posted a similar post about my Grandpa's BSA.
I am afraid I can't offer any help but wish you luck with your search.
I have been looking on google images hoping to spot Grandpa's old reg plate but with no success :-(
Great photos by the way.
I have one of me as a kid on back of Grandpa's BSA, I may post that as well.
