Title: M20 Front Forks
Post by: Mike Farmer on 28 May, 2019, 09:58
 :) :)

Good morning.

The top mounting points on the front forks (the pivot points) is narrower than the lower ones. Is there a known reason for this or is it purely for the look of it. I am thinking of making a new set of forks and to make them both the same width will be considerably easier.

I think that is all to do with the rake angle Mike, keeping the wheel correctly aligned when cornering etc.

Thanks for that. Certainly has me puzzled, mind you that's no longer very difficult.
