Title: BSA A10 1955 // QR crinkle hub cover issue
Post by: piston jockey on 06 May, 2019, 14:01
Hi all,

I've almost got my BSA A10 completely refurbished but i've got a question about the QR clinkle rear hub cover.
This is freshly re-chromed and I don't recall any more if this is a press fit or if I need a large washer to keep it in place.
The distance bush goes right through the cover... so I would guess press fit ...but the cover also does have a embossed round area in the center which could hold a washer.

If you have a though! I'm all ears  :D

Hi all,

After looking on images online of the some crinkle rear hub cover.
I gave some gentle taps with the soft hamer and the cover pressed right over the hub.

Hi - just finished restoring a 55 A10. Crinkle hub cover is a definite press fit.
John.
