DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT THE PIVOT CENTRES (PIVOT BOLT CENTRE TO CABLE BARREL CENTRE) ARE FOR THE CLUTCH LEVER?
MOST LEVERS ARE ON 7/8" CENTRES, BUT I'VE HEARD OF 1-1/8" CENTRES THAT GIVE MORE CABLE MOVEMENT.
THE BOOK SAYS 18-752, BUT I DON'T KNOW THE PIVOT CENTRE.
MY PROBLEM IS NOT ENOUGH CLUTCH MECHANISM LIFT FOR GEAR SELECTION.
Levers usually either 7/8 or 1 1/16 inch centres.
The 1 1/16 centre gives more movement at the clutch end at the expense of a heavier lever pressure.
Looking at my parts book the clutch lever shows as 18/952 which is an Amal number. The Amal catalogue (below photo) shows it as a 7/8 centre lever.

I have the parts list for my '68/'69 model, showing part no 18-752 for lever and 19/002 for lever body. Can you identify if this is 7/8" centres or 1-1/8" centres?

page 44 of the R3 parts book dated January 1969 illustration 50 and the key on page 45 shows complete clutch control as part 18/952 which is 7/8 centres. Page 45 below.
part 18/752 is the blade only and does not show on my Amal illustrated list but it does show on the price list (also 1964 issue) as a 7/8 lever.
