Post by: chaz on 07 Apr, 2019, 21:52
having to rebuild a 1965 B40 Im looking at Draganfly's web site. I see a choice of plain and roller bearing, any preference or recommendation?
trying to organise ready to send casings away for bushing and machining so all done at once.

The early models had a plain big end. later models had the more robust and durable roller bearing. The conrods changed with the bearings.

My old Alpha bearings catalogue lists 2 different roller assmblies.

You need the correct big end assembly for your flywheels.

Lots of information in Rupert Ratios Unit Singles engine manual.
