Hi there everyone,
Can someone who already has a round tank, help me?
I'm in the process of getting my 1925 round tank up and running.
However, many years ago (way before my time) the rear of my bike must have suffered a "side impact" so the rear of the frame is slightly squiffy.
And I'm starting to straighten it all out.
I have some questions:
1. The two strong horizontal lugs (or arms) that connect the gearbox to the rear wheel. One on each side. One is clean, and the other, has the rear brake attachments to it. Do these two arms mirror one another exactly. ie exactly the same curve at the gearbox end (to clear the tyre), and then straight (to the wheel mount plate). Or are they ever so slightly different?
2. Does the arm, with the brake attachment, have a kink?
3. Does the wheel sit centrally in the mud guard? Or is it slightly offset.
Maybe, there is someone either in London or Glos who has one? I can study
Many thanks all
Granville
