Title: Side Panels
Post by: Mike Farmer on 01 Apr, 2017, 13:39
 :)Greetings

What decoration should my February 1963 A50 have on the side panels. I've seen about 10 different ones but would like it to be as much correct as possible.

I would think that it would be the same as my 1963 A65 which has the BSA winged badge fitted to either side and that is all, I have seen some bikes with white coach line painted around the inside of the raised ridge but I don,t think that was original factory spec.

Hi Mike,
             Bikerbob is correct.

The Roy Bacon book states A50 side covers - 1962-1965, Metallic green (39) with round winged BSA badges.

:)hanks as usual. I'm glad that it ties up with my hopes. Although I must confess I already have a gold high lighter around the ridge. (Cos I thought it would look pretty)
