Title: B44ss frame

Hello
I'm new to the forum. I've got two BSA bikes and currently building B44ss. Does anybody know if  other BSA frames will accommodate this engine ?

John,

I've seen a B44R engine (1967) working in a B25SS Starfire frame (1970) and I believe a B44R will fit into a B40 frame, but it may depend on the year of manufacture.

The Rupert Ratio book shows measurments of frames. Should be a help.

My B44 motor (sorry no engine number) has slotted straight in to a B25 oil in tank frame as if it was meant to be.
