Title: Generator sprocket
Post by: ianfoote on 08 Jan, 2019, 10:47
Hello,

I was wondering if somebody would know the correct number of teeth on the generator sprocket of an A7 or A10? Obscure question, yes but this will help with my restoration.

Cheerio

Yep worked it out ..........

11 teeth on the A7/A10
13 teeth on the C range, both interchangeable.

Dont use 13 on the A10, the dynamo will turn more slowly and wont balance the lighting load.

Worth considering a belt drive conversion, quieter and saves the covers getting chewed by the dynamo chain.
