Hello all, just rejoined the club at the age of 53,was a member before at the age of 10 or 11 when I had a C15 SS80. Had a few other models in between, and now have another C15. This one is a bit different to the first one I had, its frame is a Terry Mead Victor GP replica which had a life as a 260cc scrambler. Its original owner retired from scrambling and the frame went back to Terry Mead to have the headstock re-angled for trials use.
It now has a completely rebuilt 260 engine, with Wd B40 gears and Electrex World ignition. Engine rebuild was done by Rupert Ratio,(Cheers Dave !) and it is used in Pre65 events, being far too slow for road use.
My B44 engined WD B40 will be for road/trail use when its finished, pics when its finished...
Welcome back to the fold Jon, I hope you find it as you left it, we are a very helpful bunch and try to help anyone we can, technical and electrical, with various information on the site, most of us owning more than one machine. Not sure where you are located but there is local branches scattered around the country, which you can join and participate in their activities, ride outs etc.
Happy new year to you.
Regards TTJohn
Cheers TT John, I can't really remember much about being a member before, now I can make better use of being a member. I live near Bath in the West country, so I guess the Bristol branch will be nearest. As soon as I get my B44 project on the road I'll get along to a meeting or rideout.
I run my own trials club for Pre65 and Twinshock trials bikes, all funds raised go to charity so my C15 gets used in running those events. I'm looking forward to doing more with both of them...
