Print Page - Made in England decal?

Hi,
I have an a65 thunderbolt from 1968. The made in England decal is missing from the downtube but I think I have found a mark on the left downtube where it might have been positioned. About level with the exhaust header is a good guess. Would it have been facing upwards or downwards?
