Title: Parts to stop handle bars hitting tank on full turn
Post by: SUPERGRUMPS on 19 Nov, 2018, 16:28
During a recent MOT for my 1967 C15, The tester listed in the advisory section that the handlebars had no "Buffer" when on full lock to avoid coming into contact with the fuel tank. I noticed on the bottom yoke there are screw holes which something screws into this to fulfil this requirement. I have trawl through all my parts/ workshop manuals and can see nothing. anybody had a similar problem or can send me picture of how its achieved on their bike.

Bolt and lock nut, normally painted over. Cheap as chips.  ;D
