Title: Wanted - BSA C15 rear sub frame spacer tube
Post by: hock79 on 18 Nov, 2018, 20:50
Hi everyone,

I am trying to get hold of this part:

https://www.bsaunitsingles.com/item.wws?sku=40-4029

But this is the only place I can find it - but postage is $24, which is a lot for such a small part.

Can't seem to find one in the UK (draganfly.co.uk no longer stock them).

Does anyone know where I might be able to source one from? It's such a simple part but seems rare that it's sold on its own.

Thanks

I almost destroyed mine on my B40 when trying to remove it!

It is listed as 2 5/8 x 3/8 th inch in size.

Could you not pop to your local steel stockholder and get a piece of thin walled tubing tubing and make one?
You probably will need to get 10mm tubing which is slightly bigger than you need and drill out the frame if necessary.
If I remember the tube was a loose fit in mine so no mods may be needed. Just check your bolt fits through any tubing you buy!
