Title: Engine change
Post by: MOONSDRIFT on 24 Oct, 2018, 11:09
I have a 1961 C15, unfortunately I have had to change the engine because it was beyond economic repair. In the past I have had a lot of trouble with DVLA regarding registration of a previous C15. The replacement engine is the latter 1965 engine.
My question is, will I have problems with DVLA changing engine number on the V5, I am fearful that they are awkward and retain my current V5.

Thanks
Mark

Should be straight forward to change the engine number;

When dealing with DVLA avoid describing anything as new, that will cause issues.

All you should need to do is fill in the "Change of Details" section with the new No and send it off to DVLA.
