Title: Electronic ignition, which is the best ?
Post by: Kajay on 23 Oct, 2018, 18:54
Hi folks,
Any pros and cons or recommendations on the best electronic ignition system. Wassal, Boyer, Sparx or Pazon, they all seem very similar (except Pazon which seems much more expensive) ?
Does any system have any real advantage ?

Ive only used the Wassell one. Easy to fit. Decent instructions. It seems robust (Its all encased in resin) And has good quality feel to it. Quite cheap too.

Had it 4 years and havent touched it since the day I fitted it.

I've just sent my mag off for repair- I considered changing to an  electronic system but was put off by the need to rely on the battery- plus having to find an unobtrusive place for the coil, but its probably more reliable .Swings and roundabouts I reckon- the Thorspark system looks good.
