Title: Correct C15 Clutch length.
Post by: Singleton on 08 Oct, 2018, 16:42
Can anyone confirm what is the correct clutch cable  length for a C15.
There seem to be 3 or different lengths on the market.

There are a number of different clutch cables for the C15.

The cables are made to go with the original factory fitted control levers and handlebars.

First photo from 1961 Trader Handbook giving cable lengths.

Secnd photo is from Clarks Cables catalogue fro0m 1969, the new Doherty cables use the same refence digits as Clarks. You will see a number of different cables here. Lengths given are for the outer.

Last photo from Romac catalogue from 1966. Lengths probably for the inner.

You should be able to sort the right cable from the information.
