Title: Crankase sealant recommendations?
Post by: David Samways on 25 Sep, 2018, 17:44
Will hopefully be reassembling the crankcases on my '34 Blue Star in the next couple of weeks. In the past I've successfully used a variety of sealants including Welseal and RTV silicone, but I'm always keen to know what others recommend especially given that the oil-reservoir is integral to the cases.

Thanks David

Thanks, I'm coming round to non-silicone, non-setting sealants. I quite like the look of this stuff: https://ebay.us/jHekqX - bit expensive though.
