Title: C15 crankshaft endfloat
Post by: Mark on 11 Sep, 2018, 07:54
Hi all,
I am just about to start reassembling my C15 engine its a 1965 C15F type & there were now shims internally to limit the end float is this correct?

Thanks Mark

The crank should be locked in position by the drive side ball race so should be no float.

any shims would only be to centralise the conrod . But as julianS said there would be no end float .

Thanks Gents,

I only had it partly assembled which explains the end float.
