Title: 1934 Blue Star inlet valve guide lubrication hole
Post by: David Samways on 22 Aug, 2018, 20:54
Just pulling apart the engine on my '34 Blue Star and I find that the inlet guide has no hole for lubrication. It's an easy enough thing to drill a hole in it while it's in situ, but I don't want to go too big or small. Does anyone know what size the hole should be?

Many thanks

David

Thanks Mike. Is that the hole into the guide itself or the oilway in the head? My head oilway is 5/32"

Oilway in head David not valve guide hole but have just found the old inlet guide that come out of the head and the hole size is 1/8".
