Title: Bantam D7 Length ?
Post by: A10 JWO on 21 Jul, 2018, 11:58
I have my D7 in storage and will fetch it home soon. Apart from my workshop I have a small shed I would like to put it in. Can someone tell me how long a D7 is end to end please, thanks.

Dam it 2" too long. If I had a centre stand I could take off the front wheel  8)

The overall length measurement advertised is probably the maximum when the front wheel is in straight ahead position. If you are wanting to get it in to a small shed what may be more useful to know is the minimum length space needed to park the bike with the wheel on full lock to left or right, which will be less than the overall length given in the brochure.
If you are able to lift the rear of the bike you can also place the rear of the bike nearer the side of the shed, as the handlebars will restrict how close the front can go. That will mean the bike can be slightly diagonal which will also reduce the length needed.
