Post by: Hancock on 20 Jun, 2018, 14:08
Hello all, I've just acquired a 1962 BSA B40 .Does anyone know where I can get some new advance retard springs. I ordered some online from classic and when they came they were much to big.The bike has points in distributor on top. Thanks

Most of the suppliers for the springs seem to be in the US and they don't seem to be readily available in the UK. However, it might be worth trying the people in the link below who might have the correct springs for you B40 distributor:

Thanks for that I have seen them I think on eBay from the states about 40dollers for two dinky little springs. How come you can't get them over here I wonder.
