Hi Guys

Problem, I have a 1947 gearbox all rebuilt and went to offer the center of the clutch onto the taper of the output shaft, however it collides with the locking ring of the sprocket long before it sits onto the taper, what is wrong ? can anyone offer any suggestions.

Thanks guys

If you have the 1946-48 gearbox then the mainshaft is different (shorter) to the prewar and later models.
Although you need a 6 spring type clutch sleeve this is different to those fitted to the other gearboxes.
Sorry I don't know the part number.
Good  luck!

cheers
Pete

The part number for the sleeve for the 46-48 box is 65-3930.
Good luck finding one.
