Rupert ratio & copy of 1965 instruction manual say oil tank is 4 pints.
Is that just the tank ? without allowance for the engine ?
I assumed four pints total. Phil.
In most more modern engines, it's only the oil filter that takes a significant amount of oil inside the engine and has to be taken into account when filling up after an oil change. In the case of the B40, it clearly doesn't have such a filter and therefore the bike's oil capacity is just that of the oil tank.
