Title: M33 Sidecar Front Fork Springs
Post by: bsarob on 10 May, 2018, 08:50
I recently purchased a pair of sidecar strength front fork springs for my M33, but on inspection they look like a set of stretched solo springs. The wire gauge is certainly the same and on fitting they are no better than solo springs. I seem to remember that front fork springs were coloured coded (similar to rear springs), but I cannot find anything to confirm this. I have found a set of heavier gauge springs colour coded yellow, the springs are about 1 inch longer than the solo springs. So before I take the front end apart again, can anyone confirm that the springs are colour coded and what gauge/size do I need as sidecar fork springs.
