Title: New member, 1955 Bantam Major
Post by: G.Mac on 28 Apr, 2018, 22:44
Hello there folks,

The time has come for me to get off my backside and do up my dad's and then grandfather's old 1955 Bantam Major.
Dad bought the bike back in 65 before passing it onto my grandfather in the early 70's. Unfortunately the bike was stolen and crashed circa 1974 and the front forks were pushed back. The bike was then parked up shortly after this where she has sat to this day.

The black and white pic is dad on the bike not long after he got it in 65 and the other two show her as she is now.

I have most of the bits to restore her but was wondering who you would recommend to overhaul and restore the old chronometric speedo as it's looking a bit worse for wear?

Hope this post turns out OK as I'm posting on my phone from work

All the best
Graeme

I have used "Chronometrics" for speedo and tachometer on my A10 and very pleased with the service;
