Title: BSA B33 Engine Oil Gauge mounting
Post by: LEMMY69 on 03 Apr, 2018, 14:05

Hello

I would like to indicate the Oil preasure from the BSA B33 Engine.

Is it possible to drill a hole with a thread at the side cover to  mount a Oil Gauge somewhere at the handlebar.

There is very little oil pressure on a B33, probably won't even register on a gauge. It is a Roller bearing engine so its oil flow rate that matters

ok thank you

so  there will be no gauge.

would you recommend a Magnetic OIL Drain Screw in the lower Oil plate.

I  just want to provide the engine of damage.

The magnetic oil drain plug is very worthwhile. As much to provide an easy way to check/drain excess sump oil if the bike has been standing for a while as to attract ferrous impurities,.
