Title: 1926 Flat Tank restoration - parts needed
Post by: MaritaW on 31 Mar, 2018, 12:13
Hi, I'm casing some gear for my 1926 BSA Flat Tank and am looking for your help to find suppliers that provide prewar pieces either online or via email. The bits I need are:

Chaincase Complete (De Luxe) 24 8717
Carburettor Control, Complete with cables & covers (De Luxe) 24 -9494 & without cables & covers 15-980
Front Brake Rim (26"x 2ΒΌ" BE) S201

I have attached pictures to show the piece. I hope someone can help me find these bits.

Thanks,
Marita

This might be the chain case - could be cheaper to get one made !
Cheers,
Bevan

Your Front Brake Rim, 26"x2 1/4 "  B.E.
The VMCC did have a stock of these a couple of years back, give them a try.
Or do you mean the Brake Rim for the Front Wheel ?
The VMCC have Brake Rims are only suitable for belt drive machines, I had a rim
rolled up in Holland to suit the  BSA Brake Rim which is smaller in profile.
