Title: timing case painting

Hi All
Has anyone repainted or had it done the red BSA and the pilled arms on the aluminium timing casings and if you have how did you do it and did it work

I didn't bother with either the BSA on my timing cover (hidden behind the pipe) or the piled arms on the pushrod tunnel (looks classier left un painted)

Yes. It was easy enough. I think I applied the red paint with a small brush and then simply polished off or wiped off the excess around the piled arms.

did the same used paint from a model shop .

Yes, a small tin of red Humbrol paint was ideal for this job :)
