Title: Gaskets and gasket compound
Post by: briand2 on 27 Feb, 2018, 22:36
Can anyone recommend a good quality engine gasket set and compound? I know these old machines are known for oil leaks but I would really like to keep it to a minimum. Any other tips would be really appreciated.

Depends on which model and year?
I use grease on paper gaskets, blue hylomar for metal to metal gaskets and other types of gaskets.
Head gasket...nothing.
