Hello people
Just decided to get my bike out of hibination.
Started after a few kicks.
Very pleased.
Replaced a faulty headlight bulb but main beam much too high.
Bulb came from vehicle wiring products
Any thoughts
Regards
Tim
If the headlight alignment was ok previously it would suggest a problem with the bulb. Assuming the current bulb has been correctly seated in the holder, I would be worth trying another bulb from a reputably supplier.
Thanks Arther
Actually the light has been very high since rebuild.
I can't see how to adjust but will take your advice and obtain another bulb.
If you have thestandard nacelle there are 2 screws on the black rim , shown on the parts list photo below, which fit in elongated hole which allow some adjustment of the beam.

In that case, as said by Julian, you may have to adjust the alignment ring on the headlight. When you do this, you need to adjust the alignment of the dipped beam to make sure it satisfies the MOT alignment template for your bike. The main beam should then be ok unless there is a problem with the bulb.
