Title: id problem and hello I'm new
Post by: jonboy on 16 Feb, 2018, 19:29
well, not that new....had a C12 in 1970 a C15 in mid seventies....A10 after my test.....
but I have come here as I have just bought what I thought was a post C15 250 as it doesn't have the distributor, points in the timing case, but the stamped no.  is C15 G  927....so early on in the series of maybe some transitional model....? the various online lists don't mention 'G'   I only have the motor and the whole bike was once sold originally and registered in Portugal, where I now live

any ideas  you lot..?

The C15G was the last and best of the C15 engines with stronger bottom end and gears , made mid 1966 until mid 1967. About 2300 made in total.
