A friend has just purchased an A65 with D suffix on engine number, has anybody got any more info or pics on Lightning Rocket models.

Plenty of pictures on the web - a highly tuned version of the Rocket intended for the US market from 1965.

Is it an export only bike or were there UK versions as well?

His bike has the bigger fuel tank on it.

UK version would have been the Lightning, coloured gold, for 1965, or the Lightning Clubman.
