Title: A65 swinging arm length
Post by: nablats on 08 Apr, 2026, 21:11
I have a 63 Tbolt, purchased with a later frame with what seems a shorter swingarm than others I have seen. I now have a longer swingarm, supposedly 1967, but when I came to fit it, the bushes were bronze? top hat type, not metalastic?, and I am puzzled as to the best way to fit it, or maybe just forget the whole thing.
I do find the handling a bit twitchy for my tastes, but it may be I am still adjusting after riding a RE himalayan for  3 years.
I am running 26 front 30 rear, and the tyres are Mitas, gawd knows how old, but they seem to have a bit of flexibility in the tread.
