Title: Mitas E-05 on a B31?
Post by: B31Thumper on 01 Apr, 2026, 19:51
Hi All,
I'm looking at changing the tyres out on my B31. Does anyone know if a 4.00 -19 Mitas E-05 would fit a B31 Plunger rear?
I'm reluctant to purchase if there will be contact points.
Many thanks.

Not specifically, but Mitas tyres tend to be undersized compared to others. I've found them fine, and easy to fit.

I have one on the rear of a '53 350 Matchless and it fits fine, doubt they are that much different.  It measures close to a 3.50
