Title: C15 primary case oil level
Post by: DAVE BRADY on 28 Mar, 2026, 11:41
Hi,

Does every one stick to the recommended oil level in the C15 primary case?
If so, measured in jug or use the level screw?

Dave.

I've always used the level screws as I find getting a measuring jug and pouring in the filler is messy. I used to use an old gravy boat.  But my usual test is "is the chain oily" when I kick it over just to make sure.

I use level screws , just ensure a decent fibre washer on level and drain screws
