I have a 1962 C15S Scrambler fitted with a 376/258 Monobloc. There is a threaded hole, sealed with a brass screw, next to the Pilot Air Adjustor Screw that appears to have no purpose. The hole seems to go nowhere. Any idea of its purpose?
Isn't this meant to have a screw on cap on it.
The brass screw you describe has a screwdriver slot in the top of it.
Part 18 is it

Looks like the pilot air jet locator.
I think this is what you mean. It is the "locating peg for jet block". Amals wording, part 376/070
Thanks for the responses. I see that the brass screw does have an unthreaded portion at the tip as though it is designed to plug the passageway. I am having a heck of a time getting my ETS-based electrics to work. My concern is that it is somehow blocking fuel flow.
It is not part 18 on a 376. That goes in the bottom. This goes in the side right next to the Pilot Air Adjustor Screw. I think it is part 22, the locating peg, but what does it locate??
See my post above. It locates the jet block into which the jet holder screws.
The jet block can rotate without the peg. It does not block or even get near a fuel passage.
