Title: C15F centre stand
Post by: A7JAY on 06 Dec, 2025, 10:29
Hi all

does any one know if there's a longer centre stand that will fit on my C15F? It's about an inch short due to me fitting longer rear shocks, I know I could extend the one I have by welding a piece in either leg, or adding to the feet but just wondered if there's a longer one that just bolts on.
thanks

I'll be removing the centre stand from my 1969 Starfire frame as I'm fitting a sidecar. The rear wheel is about 3" off the deck when on it (which needs a hefty pull). You're welcome to it for the price of postage and a pint, but it will be a couple of weeks before I take it off.

Can't guarantee it but as far as I know the mountings are the same for the C15 and my slightly later frame. Others with more knowledge may chip in?

The B40 stand is longer than the C15 one to make up for the 18" wheels (C15 on 17"??)

I could give you a rough measurement from the pivot centre to the foot if that helps. My bike has 18" wheels.

my C15 frame lugs - as best as I can  - are 14mm apart (where the stand goes in to)

It's about 9.5 - 10". Hard to measure exactly. I'll be taking it off before Christmas hopefully.

I may be wrong , but are the lugs that it pivots on too wide for the frame lugs

here's a pic of a c15 stand
