Title: new tyres for A65
Post by: nablats on 20 Nov, 2025, 10:32
My 67 Tbolt has upswept pipes and high bars. The conundrum is new tyres - I was going to go safe with dunlop k70, metzeler block tread, or continue more with the trail bike direction (ex trials rider living on the north york moors) using Continental TKC twinduro. Has anyone any experience of the last two (grip/longevity/ease of fitting)?

hi, have used the TKC's on my Africa Twin RD07...look good and stuck well. Like all tyres, a pain to get on at first but you'll get over it :)

thanks Jeff, will give those a try. I treat myself to a can of tyre lube stuff, makes fitting a lot easier
