Title: Footrest
Post by: Mikey82 on 13 Nov, 2025, 21:04
Is it my Goldflash or is it my size 11 but when riding i find the right hand footrest isn't long enough and my foot is on the edge of the footrest and rubs against the exhaust another 2" and I'm sure it would be ideal.

When you look down on the footrest, is it at right angles to the engine . If not the chances are the bikes been dropped and the foot rest bent in. Giving the effect of being short.

They are forged so with some heat they bend OK.  Check the big stud going right across is straight, they get bent too.

Hi,

All I am saying is ergonomics.  We are all different and all need a slightly different set up to our bikes.  Whilst the footrests can be adjusted up and down there is no adjustment for angling slightly backwards to better fit in with our feet which naturally are not parallel and go slightly out.
I see evidence of this from the wear pattern on my footrest rubbers.
