Title: Mudguard identification
Post by: Tigerfeet on 17 Aug, 2025, 11:12
Can anyone identify this front mudguard?  I thought it was a C15 item, but it is slightly longer and the radius is bigger - as though it might be for an 18" or 19" wheel. Also the rear bracket is further from the front two brackets.  It is 5 inch width.

The other front mudguard I have (which I firmly believe is genuine C15) has measurements of 65cm and 29cm.

Is it possible that the red mudguard is a C15 item - and that the size varied over the years of C15 production?

Hi,

Probably B40.  They had 18" wheels and heavier forks.

Dave.
